Unu merkredon, mi hazarde vidis la leterportiston kaj li metis leteron en mia leterkeston. Poste, li malfermis alian sakon kaj en mian saman leterkeston li metis malgrandan pakaĵon, sed tre zorge kaj li kontrolis la adreson. Mi estis iomete kurioza pri kion mi ricevis. Mi trovis, ke mia ESK gazeto venis kaj mi estis iomete surprizita pri la nova prezentado de ESK. La antaŭparolo en la gazeto, mencias, ke la celo de la nova prezentado estas kapti la atenton de preterpasantoj. Certe la atento de mi kaj la leterportisto estis kaptita! La membroj de la Hobarta Esperanta Klubo ŝajnas bonveni la novan prezentadon de ESK. Eble la modelinoj kaj modeloj povus porti Esperantaj “T”-ĉemizojn en venontaj eldonoj, ĉu ne?
One Wednesday, I by chance saw the postman and he put a letter in my letter box. Later, he opened another bag and into the same letter box he put a small package, but very carefully and he rechecked the address. I was a bit curious about what I had received. I found that my ESK magazine had come and I was a bit surprised about the new presentation of ESK. The introduction in the magazine mentioned that the aim of the new presentation was to capture the attention of people passing by. Certainly my attention and the attention of the postman was captured! The members of the Hobart Esperanto club seem to welcome the new ESK presentation. Possibly the models could wear Esperanto T shirts in future editions?
Mi opinias, ke vi ne devas esti maltrankvila. Ĉi tiu ESK ne estas la nova prezentado por ESK. Kris nur volis montri al ni ke ni povus pensi ekster la kvadrato. Li demandis kial ni ne provu gajni la atento de ne-esperantistoj? Mi vidis la kialon en mia domo, tie li ja gajnis la atento de mia ne-esperantista filo. Mia filo manprenis la libron, regardis la kovrilon kaj tuj foliumis tra ĝi. Bedaŭrinde, ĉar ĝi tute ne havis ion en la angla, li ne eĉ demandis ion pri ĝi, sed nur diris "hum..."
I don't think you have to be worried , Kam. This ESK is not the new way of presenting ESK. Chris only wanted to show us (the Esperantists) that we can think outside the square. He asked why we don't gain the attention of those who are not Esperantists? I saw the reason in my house. There he did indeed gain the attention os my son who is not an Esperantist. My son picked up the book, looked at the cover and immediately flipped through the pages. Unfortunately, because there wasn't any English in it, he didn't even ask anything about it, he only said "hum..."
Neniu devas estis maltrankvila pri la nova prezentado de ESK. Paĝoj de Angla teksto estas videble je paĝoj 17, 19 kaj 21, almenau~ en mia Junia 2010 eldono de ESK.
No one needs to be worried about the new presentation of ESK. Pages of English text can be seen in pages 17, 19 and 21 at least in my June 2010 of ESK.

The above mentioned notice is especially for contributors. Currently there is the threat, that the new presentation of ESK could be a very thin ESK or no ESK at all!
